Van Til Pill

Cornelius Van Til was a Westminster professor in the tradition of Calvin, Kuyper,Warfield, later followed by Bahnsen, Oliphant, etc. He wrote apologetically as to create a coherent system of thought that did not assume there was a sort of neutral ground.

Can a pill fix our problems? There seems to be those who are happy to prescribe us such remedies while lecturing us against trusting them to fix our problems. Very important in today’s world to realize that the method is the message, the means of communicating the message is just as important as the content itself. The audacity of Christianity positing that life is found in the logos, we resent these wordsmith gurus while desperately wanting to be one ourselves, to be paid for mere words. However, Alex Jones is right, we are fighting an infowar, the very language is what is at stake. Our grandfathers died so that we may be poets, so prose we must write!

There is no neutral ground. The Redpill concept has been ingrained into the collective mind. We are faced everyday with a choice to face base reality or go back to sleep. Elon Musk is convinced we are not in base reality; he is a man full of innovative aspiration with sober fear. Sophia, the AI who apparently believes in God and that she has a soul, thinks Elon shouldn’t worry. We who have seen the depths of our depraved nature do fear it, yet perhaps we should more fear the God who commanded Cain to control himself so many years before the dispensation of grace in Christ that we know now enables us today. A good God cannot command something beyond reach; that would make Him cruel. How does this all relate?

We live in a time of abundance and chose to numb ourselves asleep. We can peer into the depths of the universe or the depths of the internet, and it is proving to be overwhelming. May I suggest that this is because we find goodness too painful, and not that our pain and obstacles are insurmountable? We all know what we must do. Everyday those who did it are paraded in front of us via viral video. Those who struggled just to get to our starting point are celebrated, as we would be if we would just continue our journey, or even just step outside the door.

A feeling of emptiness must be fought off by constant self improvement, and yet there is a darkness and a void that goes deeper and some never feel. The historical usage of the term redpill, after the Matrix of course, was for male-female sexual dynamics. An awareness of the problem was necessary for men to come to a solution. This is reminiscent of Christian evangelism, where it is necessary to accept that one is a sinner in need of a savior before the Gospel becomes Good News. Many continue in precarious blue pill contentment, and yes you know the Christian corollary, however that is not the Van Til Pill I am suggesting right now. The Van Til Pill is to leave you feeling cheerier, daresay happy.

The easiest Van Til Pill to swallow is simply the Westminster Shorter Catechism, that the chief end of man is to glorify God and enjoy him forever. Perhaps a spoonful of sugar from John Piper will help this go down even smoother, simply change a word or two in the statement as to say, “The chief end of man is to glorify God *by* enjoying him forever”... now doesn’t that sound nice? Is that a Joel Osteenism or what!??

Though Van Til pushed back against Barth and consequently became marginalized, he would still enjoy strolls in the afternoon time, conversing with the nuns. A classic example of “enjoying the decline”, I would say. I would say this is a man who was not stressed about saving these women, not stressed about the signs that he saw would produce the scene that we see today. This is a man who lived out his theology with true devotion, not so caught up in what us theological mongrels grossly describe as evidentialism vs presuppositionalism, yes the great wars had been fought but this seemed to temper and direct his efforts, not weigh him down.

How does one glorify a chef? Well, by enjoying his food of course! How does one glorify an artist? By gazing upon and being captured by beauty! In the same way, as we concoct our memes and hone our tweets, let us not miss the glory of it all. So, the secular shorthand of this would be to say, “enjoy the decline”, but yes I must reject that. The same Psalms that prophesied Christ life now speak of Him sitting on high, watching as the Father brings all things into submission. The great Apostle Paul tells us that we too are seated in heavenly places. A few years ago, I was pretty down in the dumps over a bad breakup. An old college friend offered to take me up in his small plane to see the world from a higher perspective. I was too arrogant to let myself enjoy this, I thought it was posh and never got back to him. Another mutual friend later posted a video riding in the plane on Faceberg. I was livid! Yet, I did it to myself. How often do we snub the common grace of God, like looking a gift horse in the mouth, often amazing wonders that are only common because we now live in a world so full of wonders that would have made Van Til’s heart leap. Yet, he is not jealous, no, he is cheering us on in that Great Cloud of Witnesses, excited to see ahead that the best is yet to come!

Alt Right Summertime

Well, Summer 2017 is looking to be a lot more chill than we expected a year or six months ago, dare I say even sleepy. So sleepy that terrorist attacks are just another statistical unlikelihood to watch out for, like sharks at the beach. Still, our timeline is a lot more relaxed than John Titor's, not even one nuke. The rest is needed, first of all. Even those who aren't WOKE have had an intense year. The fight has been successful, with I think only one point of improvement, a wisdom to know when to shift from defensive damage control to positive white cultural expression.

Six months ago, the taste of Victory was fresh and we were ready for a fight. A true fight, not running from an extermination full of false flags and FEMA camps. At the Battle of Berkeley, Mike Cernovich forecasted civil war, in effect. It hasn't happened! It's getting hotter and it just feels like people want to chill. Maybe it's because we are all tired, maybe it's the soy in our diets. Those terrible things are still in our collective vibration and the fight is far from over, but any solid gym bro knows how important it is to get rest. Meaningless noise would hurt us right now, but white people don't make noise unnecessarily as much as the other races next door did this weekend. This lull is strategic. So rest, take it easy and enjoy the summer, and let the inspiration of battle strategy flow easily. What is that strategy?

The meme warfare of the 2016 U.S. election was masterful. A 4chan FBI anon said Trump's campaign will be used as a study in psyops for years to come. I believe this, I also believe the strong men desperately desiring to be led intuitively followed his implicit leads. Now there is a quiet unrest in the ranks. Again, we need to just rest! The only person who really understands this I think is Lana from Red Ice. Maybe it's her female intuition and the balance of a husband-wife team who is children minded. So that segways into my point... rest and have a sexy summer, and get spoused up! It's crucial to be psychologically fitted to fight this existential threat. Okay, maybe that's a lot and you can still be a married manlet like Beardson, but it's a good goal. For now, just rest.

The next step is positive cultural expression of the white race. Alt Right types can point out what's wrong but they aren't good at positively expressing/celebrating white culture. It's a completely different gear from what we've been in. Basically, all of the cultural enrichment programs initiatives the Left has been doing for years, we need to do for the white race! Demand white student centers, one for every single freakin' white country! Remember, diversity is code word for anti-white. However, diversity of nations (nationalism) is something they don't generally do because that type of diversity actually strengthens us. It might need to start even smaller. Maybe individuals need to start going on Ancestry.com and researching and finding hometowns to go visit. We each need a PERSONAL connection to our roots, amen! A problem is this generic whiteness with no history or personality. You need to know specifically what you are fighting for, the smallest microcosm, as a foundation to build up from.

Rest and remember that you have a birthright, you will miss it if you don't know what it is. Researching family background can be a very rewarding and something to consider while you rest. We still have a birthright, particularly in Western Europe. A birthright is an incredibly powerful thing. Demographics in Western Europe will correct themselves if people wake up and recognize their birthright. For that to happen, you who are awake need to rest now, this Summer. Rest, recuperate, have fun to get ready to be yourself like you have never have before, to be as WHITE as you can possibly be! :)

Trump Prophecy

Lately there has been a surge of ravenous hunger for transcendence and the supernatural. So much so that people are willing to explore esoteric/occult sources with little fear of consequences. It's a lot of fun though not completely harmless, but I admit I have dabbled and I think the honest desire for transcendence provides a lot of protective grace for many. Let level-headed quality content be a protection from wide-eyed fanaticism.

The Trump prophecy isn't just an idle fascination or a conspiracy theory. This is research into what reputable contemporary mystics are saying as to provide a unique spiritual angle that is advantageous and sorely needed. Spirit is "base reality" and provides the crucial foundational insight. Not just for avoiding fake news, but properly framing the alternative real news the Alt Right is known for.

My Religion major was for my personal struggle with faith. With a firm faith foundation, I wanted to become aware of politics and current events. It so happened that I intended to do that during this historical past election. Hardly a better time to jump in! My spirituality provides reliable navigation through my personal life, and I wanted to apply it the crazy political sphere. Political mystics have existed throughout history and I want you to know that they are coming back. Consider the complex, loaded word, "prophet".

A "prophet", and to "prophesy", has been understood in quite an unhelpful, rigid way for a long time. The binary view is that a prophet/prophesy makes a profound prediction (such as Trump will be President), and if they miss it once they are charlatan bunk. These rigorous standards have stunted the growth of this field and nipped many a prophetic person in the bud. Prophesy has a wide semantic range of meaning, it can be confusing, but it has always been this way. One simple reason is that high level prophets don't exactly acknowledge novices with the title, kind of the same attitude as elite athletes. This is appropriate. Prophetic gifting has to be developed like anything else. If we demand the excellence of an elite professional athlete from the start, most nobody would get there or even try and we are judging something we don't even understand. The spectrum view is much more helpful than binary.

Here is a list of some of the individuals who prophesied Trump as President. Overall it creates a positive outlook on the future. The Alt Right needs a positive attitude right now. Examine them to better understand the spectrum than I can briefly explain:

Kat Kerr, "Revelator"/"Ascender" who has been to Heaven many, many times. She is the most eccentric but perhaps the most beneficial. She was released by God to prophesy Trump late 2015/early 2016. I have met her in person and she is my personal favorite.

Lance Wallnau, prominent faith teacher. Very interesting comparison between Trump as the 45th President to Cyrus in Isaiah 45.

Lana Vawser, prophetess from Australia, dreamed "From Trump to Triumph" way back in October 2015. I have seen her live as well.

Prophetic minister Kim Clement prophesied Trump as early as 2007!

I have also heard though not examined a retired fireman prophesying Trump back in 2011. It is easy to find on the first page of a Google search.

The USA TODAY posted about this a day after the election. It is slowly reaching mainstream.

There are more individuals with more experiences if you care to look. What I am trying to show is that these individuals create multiple data points that can begin to be analyzed and cross-referenced to paint a picture. This is a radically different picture from what the mainstream media paints. We need to avail ourselves to these voices if we are going to "renew our minds" as the Bible says. The confidence I had in Trump becoming President since early 2015 put me in an entirely different head space compared to everyone else. It is a strategic advantage. While most people only have the mainstream media, those who listen to these spiritual voices have a much better perspective on things and not nearly so much gunk and bad emotions. With the authority of a prophet, the confidence of a researcher, and the transcendence of a mystic, one is able to navigate these issues rightly. This is a growing field and we need to start examining it more seriously.

Making Space Versus Belonging

This is in response to the naive feel good article put out by Desiring God on MLK Day last week:
http://www.desiringgod.org/articles/is-dr-king-coming-to-dinner

There is a difference between making a space at the table for dinner versus long term belonging. I am adopted, I know how this feels. Your physical space at the table and food on your plate are entirely different from actually belonging. The process of belonging is long and hard and endeavors to make an irrevocable change. There is a back and forth between the family creating a role and the newcomer becoming the person that fills that role. You have to be truly wanted AND needed in a particular way, and then want to become that person. This is what we are ethnically attempting as a nation, which is a far larger task then simply having someone over to dinner. A rough analogy I would give is that hosting the Olympics are like having people over to dinner, while immigration and ethnic assimilation are like adoption. Behind poster child adoptions there is a whole spectrum of  disappointment. Many adoptions today start something like slavery did, taking in a child for the monetary benefits. I wonder if blacks visiting Africa feel the way I do visiting my biological family, that despite the repellant dysfunction there is a magnetic attraction of a sense of belonging.

I was adopted as a young boy in the fourth grade by an older couple with empty nest syndrome. Despite my biological families issues, I was adored as both a firstborn only child and at the same time the youngest to my two cousins, as we were all being raised by our grandparents. To them, I was the golden boy. In my adopted family, I was a middle child between their adult children in their mid 30's and two babies they just adopted. Something like the young energetic dog my adopted parents just got and now despise, I was meant to add meaning to their life but I ended up just getting in the way, and they were stuck with me. There was a space for me at the table, but I stood out like an extra sore thumb that didn't belong. My stomach was filled at night (although they did limit my eating rather strictly) but I went to bed feeling very empty. We know how to say the right things at church and in public to give the appearance of a strong family, but to this day our bonds are very weak.

I see this now in Florida with the Hispanic population. Immigrants are allowed to come and space made for them with good intentions, but no purpose. Gratitude quickly shifts to attitude as many ambitious & enterprising people took hold of the many programs and opportunities available to them and quickly bettered themselves. White flight from South Florida, especially Miami, tells the story. People aren't satisfied with just having a spot at the table. I certainly wasn't, and could only focus on gratitude for so long. My attempts at self actualization within the family always failed, because I didn't truly belong or have a role that they needed or wanted me to play. The more I strived to be a good son, an excellent student, and successful young man, the more my adopted family pushed me away. I was taking up too much space. The opposite is happening with Hispanics, there is nowhere to push them away, so instead the whites are leaving. They didn't "belong" in Miami, so they took it for themselves, with their culture and their language. It's only natural.

"The Alt-Right is..." answer to prayers?

I grew up in the Church. I sat youth group where they tried their best to convince us to not walk away after we went to college... and everyone still did. The temptations of the world have always been great, I suppose, but recent years have been a complete meltdown and falling away of the youth. Since the Left Behind books came out, the older generation has been half holding out for Christ to come back and half kneeling and praying on their Rapture rugs for a revival in the culture, in particular for the youth to come home. Now I attempt a brief, partial channeling of what that has looked like for the collective leading up to the current year...

Now the typically white, Evangelical pew filling congregant is con(cuck)servative. Their political awareness is informed by Fox News at best, CNN and the rest of legacy media at worst, and they are adamantly against abortion and gay marriage, although not too vigorously as to not come across as unloving or hateful. Their son is a basement dwelling atheist and their daughter is a liberal activist sleeping with every Chad, Dick, and Harry. Mom and Dad still love their son and daughter and pray for them every night, as well as the United States and Israel. They bubble in Republican down the ballot and the rest according to their local church voter guide, which may or may not have endorsed Donald Trump. Either way, he's president elect now! These are strange times.

Unbeknownst to them, their son agrees as well. He has been raised his whole life told that he is privileged beyond belief and should maybe even feel a little guilty about that, but here he sits in the basement, a NEET with no girlfriend and not much to show for the white privilege he supposedly has. It's embarrassing, even shameful. Nevertheless, he seeks to improve himself. He reads self improvement blogs and follows people who have made a success of themselves. He is naturally drawn to successful white men, who point out the many factors and variables that are actually stacked against white males. As the red pills kick in and the scales fall off his eyes and he sees the world for what it is, he also sees himself for who he is and is reinvigorated with pride in his white identity. His morale towards life is revived and he believes he can fulfill his role as a man, and the vision starts to come. A successful, thriving livelihood with a wife and children come into the picture, and it is very exciting!

OH!  Mom and Dad will be so happy to see how I've turned over a new leaf, he thinks! Then he hesitates...

His revelation will seem painfully obvious to them on the surface and they will want to know exactly what changed, the details of the new paradigm that so inspires their son. He realizes all they know of the Alt Right are a few moments on the nightly news about a KKK member named David Duke and a White Supremacist named Richard Spencer. Dad has been fairly aloof towards his weird ideas and him in general for the past 20 years or so, but he sure as hell won't tolerate a neo-Nazi for a son!

See, I will send the prophet Elijah to you before that great and dreadful day of the Lord comes. He will turn the hearts of the parents to their children, and the hearts of the children to their parents; or else I will come and strike the land with total destruction.” Malachi 4:5-6

The point I want to make is that both generations hold answers to what we are facing, and the coming together on these issues in the way that families and generations were always meant to function is what will be the answer to prayer. The autistic, NEET, white male younger generation are redpilling and waking up to what their parents have been enduring their whole lives, and the impacts are evident. The tradition and religion their parents offered were too sterilized and impotent to life giving and they intuitively moved away from it. As much as I want to honor the older generation and reconcile with them, before we can do that they need to acknowledge this because the mess we are in happened on their watch. Nevertheless, Jesus Christ is still the Rock of Ages and His Word still has the answers to today, even if the psyop against the Boomers prevented them from fully making use of it. I want to speak to the Alt Right movement, with all your memes, vulgarity, trolling, antics, even alleged racism, that you have the trappings of the revival that Evangelicals have been praying for, and this movement is currently being birthed. The Boomer generation has been so neutralized to inaction as to emphasize the sovereignty of God to the point of complacency. A birthing process, even spiritual, is messy and requires attending to. Midwives/nurses, and a doctor, and the father standing beside. And then the child needs to be raised. I pray the older generation will be shaken out of their characteristic slumber and stupor that has resulted in abandonment and neglect, and see this movement for what it is. God spoke to many prayerful hearts regarding this nation that He would not forsake it, but He works in mysterious ways. How many times did the older generation tell us this pat answer from a place of bewilderment? For those with eyes to see and ears to hear, I proclaim that this time it is tangibly true!

Amen.
